#WhyWeAdvocate: Helping Cancer Patients Find Treatments That Work So They Can Fulfill Their Passion

This video is from Cure Fest 2018 taken by The Truth 365.

It depicts a young lady by the name of Ava Blaser from Chicago who had just ended her treatment for her second fight with cancer the day before. She is a true warrior and inspiration to everyone. I know that Sonny would have been so happy for her and would have loved to be there

to see her perform. Sadly, Sonny was not able to say that she beat cancer, but with your help, we CAN save others. #joinus in Erie, PA on September 27, 2018 as we Light the Night and raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer and is at the forefront of the fight to cure cancer. And number two, it’s a simple fact that blood is easier to reach, test and study than solid tumors, so LLS is leading the fight against all cancers. Take a look at these two stats: Since 2000, almost half of all cancer drugs approved by the FDA were originally intended to treat blood cancers. And last year alone, there were 18 FDA-approved therapies to fight cancer and LLS played a role in the development of 15 of them. Simply put, beating cancer is in our blood.
