Pay no attention to all the fashion mistakes in this picture.....but I could not think of a more appropriate place to lead with our celebration of the month of Sonny. In celebration of her birthday month, it seems fitting to share a picture that shows the waiting for her very first day on this Earth. At 20 I had no idea just how much I would be able to love another human; but, she taught me just that: to love and love without condition. She is still teaching me an abundance of lessons today. I was so afraid that I would not know what to do. I was afraid that I would not be able to protect her and afraid to even bring a child into such a crazy world.
Being a mother was and is the best thing that I ever was chosen by God to do. My life is all the richer because He blessed me with her. He also blessed me with the many bonus kiddos that Sonny has brought into my life and I could not be more grateful for each of them. Happy birthday month baby girl!!
