Day 22 of a Month of Sonny: Sunflowers—-This day last year one of Sonny’s dearest friends and her mother came to visit me In Maryland to celebrate Sonny’s First Heavenly birthday with me. We decided to visit a sunflower field to be one with Sonny’s favorite flower. That day it rained like a monsoon. However, once we made it to the field the sun burst through the clouds like a divine intervention long enough for us to enjoy what made us feel close to Sonny. Well my friends, yesterday was that and then some and so was today. However, in typical Sonny form, she parted those clouds for a moment so I could be close to her.
